Coefficient d’absorption acoustique par méthode de salle de réverbération
Un numéro de désignation ASTM identifie une version unique d’une norme ASTM.
C = matériaux de céramique, de béton et de maçonnerie;
423 = numéro séquentiel attribué
09 = année d’adoption initiale (ou, en cas de révision, l’année de la dernière révision)
a = indique une révision ultérieure la même année.
Une série d’essais a été réalisée pour comparer divers paramètres des essais ASTM C423 et ISO 354 relatifs à l’absorption des plafonds acoustiques. Les résultats indiquant que la taille de l’échantillon n’a pas d’impact significatif sur les performances d’absorption. Les données d’absorption, représentées par les coefficients α et αs, sont pratiquement identiques pour les deux méthodes. Cependant, il peut exister des différences significatives entre les valeurs SAA et αw déclarées qui sembleraient, à un concepteur non instruit, de refléter des différences de performances du produit.

ASTM C423 – Test 936-2-99 – NEW/ACOUSTIC Micro-Perf membrane (micro-perforated) was tested for absorption in an E·1219 mounting. The Newmat membrane was stretched over the top of 9′x8′x4′ open box made of 3/4″ plywood (unpainted). For this test, no fill of any kind was suspended inside the box.
ASTM C423 – Test 936-15b-00 – A layer of 1″ thk 6-lb. board fiberglass was placed on the floor of the reverb chamber (type A mount) inside a 3-3/8″ tall aluminum frame. NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) ceiling membrane was stretched across the top of the frame.
ASTM C423 – Test 936-15e-00 – One layer of 1″ thk 6-lb. board fiberglass was placed on the floor of the reverb chamber inside an E400 mounting frame (made of unpainted plywood). NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) membrane was stretched across the top of the frame.
ASTM C423 – Test 936-15c-00 – Two layers of 1″ thk 6-lb. board fiberglass were placed on the floor of the reverb chamber (type A mount) inside a 3-3/8″ tall aluminum frame. NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) membrane was stretched across the top of the frame.
ASTM C423 – 936-15d-00 – Two layers of 1″ thk 6-lb. board fiberglass were placed on the floor of the reverb chamber inside an E400 mounting frame (made of unpainted plywood). NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) membrane was stretched across the top of the frame.
ASTM C423 – 936-13-99 – NEW/ACOUSTIC M-15 (micro-perforated) membrane was tested for absorption in an E-1219 mounting. The membrane was stretched over the top of a 9′x8′x4′ open box made of 3/4″ plywood (unpainted). For this test, a 1″ thk layer of 1.5-lb. flglass (Owens- Corning RA24) was suspended inside the box 8.75″ (measured from flglass’ face) from membrane.
ASTM C423 – Test 936-12-99 – NEW/ACOUSTIC M-15 (micro-perforated) membrane was tested for absorption in an E-1219 mounting. The membrane was stretched over the top of a 9′x8′x4′ open box made of 3/4″ plywood (unpainted). For this test, a 6″ thk layer of 6-lb. f/glass (Owens- Corning R-19) was suspended inside the box 3.75″ (measured from f/glass’ face) from membrane.
ASTM C423-02 (3a) – NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) Double Layer of Newmat T0B Micro-Perforated Membrane suspended over drywall and 1″ of fiberglass in ASTM E1400 mount.
ASTM C423-02 (2c) – NEW/ACOUSTIC (micro-perforated) Double Layer of Newmat T0B and T7 Micro-Perforated Membrane suspended over drywall and 2″ of fiberglass in ASTM E400 mount.
