ASTM C423-09a Coefficient d’absorption acoustique par méthode de salle de réverbération Un numéro de désignation ASTM identifie une version unique d’une norme ASTM. C = matériaux de céramique, de béton et de maçonnerie; 423 = numéro séquentiel attribué 09 = année d’adoption initiale (ou, en cas de révision, l’année de la dernière révision) a = indique une révision ultérieure la même année.
Une série d’essais a été réalisée pour comparer divers paramètres des essais ASTM C423 et ISO 354 relatifs à l’absorption des plafonds acoustiques. Les résultats indiquant que la taille de l’échantillon n’a pas d’impact significatif sur les performances d’absorption. Les données d’absorption, représentées par les coefficients α et αs, sont pratiquement identiques pour les deux méthodes. Cependant, il peut exister des différences significatives entre les valeurs SAA et αw déclarées qui sembleraient, à un concepteur non instruit, de refléter des différences de performances du produit.
