Project: To achieve the futuristic design in the Evolution Lounge, Newmat stretched 3 black lacquer membranes over aluminum frames to provide the outlines needed.

These membranes were secured in an unconventional « pick point » fashion using custom clips instead of Newmat profiles to allow for a free-form perimeter.

In addition, metal tubes with rounded caps were pushed into the membranes to create this 3-D design. Furthermore, Newmat’s easily cleanable system was a necessary feature for this heavy smoking area.
