Project: This 20,000 square foot trading floor/office project for Banc of America Securities in Manhattan includes 800 5′ x 5′ E-Z Access Panels NEW/MIRODAL. The pre-stretched panels with translucent membranes NEW/LIGHT offer the necessary light transmission and acoustical absorption. Newmat’s torsion spring system allows easy accessibility for re-lamping of the fluorescent light fixtures. As design elements, a reveal was added to the center of each panel, and a 2″ custom aluminum support grid was used to house the sprinkler heads, thereby leaving the membranes free of any perforations.
